Vegan Street Fair Nights is back and taking over The Federal Bar in North Hollywood for two nights: Friday, September 1 (21+ only) and Saturday, September 2 (all ages). Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food, vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening each Saturday. This Saturday's theme is Asian, where guests will learn to make Hot & Sour Soup, Pho Noodles, "Fried" Jicama Rice, Chopped Miso Salad. Classes are 90 minutes and cost $30 at the door. Sunday, September 3
The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You'll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing. Bonus, Frankenstand is there every Sunday between 10 and 2 serving up delicious gourmet vegan franks. Tickets are $20/adult and $10/kid. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Baba's Vegan Cafe is dedicated to serving healthy and accessible plant-based cuisine in South Los Angeles and hosts a weekly pop-up in Leimert Park. Stop by and enjoy some delicious vegan food and warm community. You can also order in advance for Sunday pick-up. Click here for more details.
