Friday, October 6
Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food, vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening each Saturday. This Saturday guests will learn to make raw soups, including Sea chowder, Avocado Curry, Tomato Basil, Cream of Mushroom, Creamy Spinach, and Raw Tortilla Soup. Classes are 90 minutes and cost $30 at the door. Click here to reserve your spot.
Vegatino's will be serving up delicious and affordable vegan food in Panorama City. Menu items include: Street Tacos, Burritos, Tortas, Guatemalan Enchiladas, Aguas Frescas, and Flan. Catch them next weekend too, at the 2nd Annual LA's Best Vegan Tacos event.
This four-course dinner by Chef Crispy will help raise money for LA Kitchen. Courses can be ordered vegan or non-vegan, so come one, come all. Tickets are $30/person and can be purchased here.
Sunday, October 8
The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You'll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing. Bonus, Frankenstand is there every Sunday between 10 and 2 serving up delicious gourmet vegan franks. Tickets are $20/adult and $10/kid. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Baba's Vegan Cafe is dedicated to serving healthy and accessible plant-based cuisine in South Los Angeles and hosts a weekly pop-up in Leimert Park. Stop by and enjoy some delicious vegan food and warm community. You can also order in advance for Sunday pick-up. Click here for more details.
Southern Fried Vegan will be at Verdugo Bar serving up their ever-so-popular Beer-Cheeze Battered Beyond Burgers and other delicious comfort food.
