Friday, October 13
Head to Torrance for vegan-friendly craft beer and vegan food from Vegana Casera. The menu includes burritos, pozole, and tacquitos. And of course, telescopes come out at 8pm for beautiful views of the night sky.
Meet up with other vegans and like-minded individuals at Viva Falafel in Long Beach. Bring your vegan and non-vegan friends! Event is from 5-8pm.
Saturday, October 14

Who has the best vegan tacos in Los Angeles? Come out to Cafe Gratitude (Larchmont location) Saturday to find out! Eat Drink Vegan and Cafe Gratitude bring you the 2nd Annual LA's Best Vegan Tacos. There will be eight chefs, two winners, and tons of vegan tacos. Plus, kombucha, cold brew, and beer. Check out the full lineup and grab your tickets here.
Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food, vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening each Saturday. This Saturday guests will learn to make vegan cheeses, including nacho, sun-dried tomato ricotta, feta, fermented, and walnut cheddar. Classes are 90 minutes and cost $30 at the door. S+M Vegan will be serving up their famous pan-style pizza at Mooshoes in Silver Lake. Come by for an evening of delicious vegan food and shopping.
Sunday, October 15
The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You'll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing. Bonus, Frankenstand is there every Sunday between 10 and 2 serving up delicious gourmet vegan franks. Tickets are $20/adult and $10/kid. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Baba's Vegan Cafe is dedicated to serving healthy and accessible plant-based cuisine in South Los Angeles and hosts a weekly pop-up in Leimert Park. Stop by and enjoy some delicious vegan food and warm community. You can also order in advance for Sunday pick-up. Click here for more details.
Southern Fried Vegan will be at Yorkshire Square Brewery and is giving you the chance to eat an unlimited amount of their dishes, including Fried Chikun, Mac N Cheeze, Jambalaya, and more. $35/all-you-can-eat or $25/single trip.
