PETA and PETA Latino host PETA Food Fight: Chilaquiles Edition! Come taste vegan chilaquiles from six vendors and vote on your favorite. Vendors include Doomie's NextMex, Senoreata, Kitchen Mouse, Taqueria La Venganza, Mama's International Tamales, and Equelecua. Celebrity judges include Kate Del Castillo, Alicia Machado, Daniella Monet, andMarco Antonio Regil.
Farm Sanctuary will be hosting two events this year to express gratitude for all living things. Events will be held November 4th and 5th at their sanctuary in Acton, CA. Spend time with the animals, watch the turkeys enjoy a Thanksgiving feast, enjoy a vegan Thanksgiving lunch, and listen to presentations from Farm Sanctuary President and Co-Founder Gene Baur, National Shelter Director Susie Coston, and a special Sunday presentation by actress Harley Quinn Smith. Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food, vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening each Saturday. This Saturday guests will learn to make all things Italian, including Caprese Salad, Linguine Seafood Alfredo, Baked Ziti, and Italian Jam Crostata with almond crust. Green's Center for Plant Based Nutrition and Gluten Free Education is hosting another great event focused on delicious plant-based food, and the theme this time is Tamales and Loteria. Admission is free but you must register ahead of time to get in. All dishes are $5 and under.

The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You'll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing. Baba's Vegan Cafe is dedicated to serving healthy and accessible plant-based cuisine in South Los Angeles and hosts a weekly pop-up in Leimert Park. Stop by and enjoy some delicious vegan food and warm community. You can also order in advance for Sunday pick-up. Click here for more details.
