Friday, July 21

Peruvian Vegan Feast

Feastly is hosting a 5-course Peruvian vegan dinner prepared by Chef Rachel Carr. Seats are limited and must be reserved in advance. $40/person. If you can't make it to this one, make sure to check out these other upcoming events by Chef Rachel Carr.

 

Cosmic Brewery Vegan Food, Telescopes, and Beer

Word of Mouth will be at Cosmic Brewery all night long serving up some delicious vegan comfort food. There will also be telescopes starting at 8pm for planet-viewing, as well as beer.

 

Saturday, July 22

PETA's Summer Kind Market

PETA's Summer Kind Market is happening Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm at their Empathy Center in Echo Park. The market will feature fashion, beauty, snacks, decor and more. Everything is cruelty-free and 10% of every purchase goes to PETA. There will also be a raffle with prizes!

 

Suprversary: LA's Greatest Food Celebration

Suprmarkt, an organic grocery store whose mission it is to bring affordable and healthy foods to the people who need it the most, is celebrating turning one. Help them celebrate by coming out to The Underground Museum for some vegan food, insights, and giveaways. Speakers include Olympic Changemaker, Seba Johnson, and LA Kitchen's Robert Egger. Tickets start at $45 and can be purchased in advance here.

Raw Food, Vegan Cooking Class @ SunCafe

Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food, vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening each Saturday. This Saturday is Savory Sensations: Veggie Ribbon Salad, Broccoli Cheddar Pasta, and Almond Fudge. Classes are 90 minutes and cost $30 at the door.

 

Yoga-urt Turns Two

Yoga-urt is celebrating their second anniversary all weekend long. Stop by between 2 to 5pm Saturday or Sunday to score $1 off soft serve, smoothies, and kombucha floats. 4th Annual Healthy Junk Vegan Faire

Cocobella Pop-Up at Krimsey's

Another pop-up by your favorite vegan ice cream shop. And this time it's in North Hollywood at Krimsey's! Cocobella will be bringing eight of their most popular flavors and you'll have the option to try a French Quarter Beignet a la Mode. Sugar high, here we come.
