Want to learn a new skill this weekend? Check out SunCafe's raw food vegan cooking class, part of their weekly series happening every Saturday. This Saturday's theme is Raw Basics. Participants will learn to make Creamy Spinach Italian Soup, Walnut Cheddar Cheese Tacos, mayo and creamy dressings, and Walnut Brownies. Classes are 90 minutes and cost $30 at the door. Join Chef Denise Vallejo of Alchemy Organica for her first pop-up of the year. The menu includes:
- Organic Quesadillas made with Denise's own housemade Cashew Quesillo, Cactus, Roasted Peppers, and Oyster Mushrooms, topped with salsa and housemade crema
- Seitan Carne Asada Tacos on organic tortillas made fresh to order
- Pozole with organic hominy, jackfruit, with all the traditional toppings
- Handmade organic huaraches smothered in organic pinto beans, salsa & crema

Baba's Vegan Cafe is dedicated to serving healthy and accessible plant-based cuisine in South Los Angeles and hosts a weekly pop-up in Leimert Park. Stop by and enjoy some delicious vegan food and warm community. You can also order in advance for Sunday pick-up. Click here for more details.
Raise money for a cause by feasting on your favorite southern vegan food. Southern Fried Vegan will be at Yorkshire Square Brewery from noon to 4pm, serving up favorites such as Firecrackers, Po Boyz, BBQ Bombers, Hush Dawgies, Waffle Fry Poutine, GF Mac N Cheeze, and more. 20% of the sales will go to Forte Animal Rescue. The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You'll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing.
