Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet, will be speaking in Kalamazoo at The Wesley Foundation Student Center at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo on Tuesday, September 20th.
The title of Tuttle’s talk is Healing Our World: A Deeper Look at Food and will encompass the environmental, health, and social consequences of our dietary choices. Dr. Tuttle studied at the University of California, Berkeley and has taught and lectured in religion, philosophy, and creativity, focusing on intuition, healing and awakening. He is a Dharma Master in the Zen tradition and recipient of the Courage of Conscience Award and the Empty Cages Prize. International best-selling author, Tuttle is renowned for his inspirational, moving presentations that often incorporate his music and his wife’s art.
Event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
Doors open at 6:30 with refreshments. Lecture begins at 7:00. A Q&A will follow the lecture along with sales of Tuttle’s The World Peace Diet as well as his latest book, Circles of Compassion.
