Hey y’all, there are two new soups at Water Street Coffee Joint! Available on a rotating basis in no particular order and alternating with the non-veg soups, these dishes promise to warm your insides and please the palate. Feel free to call in the mornings to check if your favorite is on the menu for the day.
We tried the Mexican Vegetable and were super glad we did. This savory soup is filled with jicama, corn, sweet potato, tomato, and onion in vegetable stock flavored with cilantro, lime, garlic, and oregano. Can you say “delicious?” And be sure to ask for the oyster crackers. They’re vegan!
Another vegan option this fall is the Chili del Sol. This one consists of quinoa, oil, onion, pepper, garlic, red wine, tomatoes, V8 juice, cumin, coriander, chili flakes, oregano, cayenne, paprika, Chipotle, salt, Saratoga chocolate, espresso powder, and mixed beans.
