How to Create A Vegan World (Book / Discussion Group)

  • Kalamazoo Library Central Branch (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Please join Vegan Kalamazoo for a discussion of effective vegan outreach / activism / advocacy featuring Tobias Leenaert 's excellent new book How to Create a Vegan World . We'll be discussing the Intro and Chapters 1 - 3 this month, and Chapters 4 - 6 in February. (Description below.)

In this thought-provoking book, Tobias Leenaert leaves well-trodden animal advocacy paths and takes a fresh look at the strategies, objectives, and communication of the vegan and animal rights movement. He argues that, given our present situation, with entire societies dependent on using animals, we need a very pragmatic approach. How to Create a Vegan World contains many valuable ideas and insights for both budding advocates for animals and seasoned activists, organizational leaders, and even entrepreneurs.

The Kalamazoo Public Library has copies to lend, or you can purchase via publisher Lantern Books (https://lanternbooks.presswarehouse.com/books/BookDetail.aspx?productID=516340) or your favorite bookstore.
